  • great vid!! :) youre filming is amazing! :)) the baby lions were so cute, and loved the timelapse (or whatever its called) thingy at the end :D what are the little animals at 3:25?

  • Hi Sassski - the little animals at 3:25 are Banded Mongoose.

  • Cool video! The meerkats were cute. You're lucky to have seen all the major big cats & the lion cubs were adorable falling all over each other.

  • Hi moshimoshi - the cute animals at 3:23 are actually banded mongoose (mongeese??)... but I must admit we thought they were meerkats when we first saw them!

  • You went on a SAFARI?

    Wow..

    Love the video :D

    Looked like fun.

    Thanks for great video quality...

OMG Is that a Ditka?! I love those... :D

  • Hi RunningWolf... yes, the animal at 0:39 is a Damara Dik Dik

    :-)

  • Damara Dik Dik. Where can I purchase one? xD only kidding, only kidding. They're so cute! Hope everyone had fun on there trip. I'd love to go on a safari someday.

  • The leopard was gorgeous!

and the baby zebras were too cute :)

  • leopard, jaguar, kitty cat..all the same thing xD but yay i got a good score thank you!! :D

the only reason i knew the gemsbok was from playing Zoo tycoon 2 lol.

tripod or not..i thought ur filming was amazing :P!! xx

  • Hi Grace - v. good effort listing the animals - I'll score you 9/10! The lovely big cat at 4:54 is a leopard not a jaguar :-)

I was going to say that there weren't any Gemsbock in the video but of course there are - it's just that all the guides called them Oryx, which is the other name given to them.

I didn't have space to pack a tripod so had to use any surface I could find to help support my arms! I wish I had taken my tripod though... I could have got even better shots of the animals :-)

  • Thanks for the comments wyllieohagan - glad you enjoyed the video. I must admit we saw several Zebra crossings in the middle of the game reserve! :-)
