people took samples after from the dust and they found the dust all over the city. The dust was from the wtc as it matched and it was found in the shit loads. Or tonnes of it was found randomly as a coincidence.because nanothermite justs fucks around on the side of the road. Very common to find Nano thermite isnt it?
