  • Haha... I went to myself... "Is she reading the lyrics off a sheet? How odd." And then I realized, no, Jamie's just a doucher and couldn't even do it in person. Sounds great though. For sure.

  • You're absolutely right. Things got a little jumbled. As I'm sure you're well aware, Jason Robert Brown's music is very... wordy. Thankfully, Heather was able to keep it rolling, even with the lyrical slips.

Thanks for dropping by, and for REALLY listening! :)

  • this is amazing- great interp on this song, I love the bottom to your sound!

  • You can really tell that she and Colleen went to the same school after listening to this song on both of their voices.

    Fantastic job =)

  • She did a great job. One of the girls is doing this for her solo, and it's stuck in my head! She's a great belter... lucky. :)

The only thing I would say would be that if you're going to show any emotion or anything, I'd do it full out. Maybe... is she a musical theatre person or just a vocalist?

  • hehe tricksy!

  • nice voice, but way too slow.

  • very nice voice

  • They are, aren't they? In particular, I find 'I'm Not Afraid' a real tricksy beast for wording... but she did a marvellous job of covering it up.

Thank you for replying, and it was a pleasure to really listen to a fantastic voice!

  • ...did she mix the words up, or is this just a different version? Because I'm pretty sure the third and second verse were mixed up...the ones on either side of 'What about lies, Jamie?'. I sang this song for my exam, but mayhap my version was different. Anyone know?
