How to turn off the Netgear blue LED lights on the Wireless-G mimo rangemax router

@FattyTheFerret Actually the video helped me. I could see that this suggestion is not relevant to my model. Turns out that Netgear has at least 3 different approaches to this spread over their models.
1, the little black button at the bottom
2. The Blue disco light is the switch
3. Nothing - they ship a solid piece of plastic to cover it.
God knows what clueless engineer at NetGear thought that flashing lights on a Router would be a good idea.

If you need a tutorial for this you're a fucking retard.

If people only read the manual available online.
Listen lazy peeps.
All you have to do is press and hold the centre button (ontop of the dome- the big blue flashing thing - YES it is a BUTTON to control WPS - No I'm not joking) for 2 seconds and let go. It should turn off.
To get it back, repeat the same process.
If you have a computer that supports WPS (that is if you want to send the routing info, such as password) you hold the centre button until it flashes and connect to the network

@M3n747 Or you could pause the video. Just a thought.

FYI TO EVERYONE, ITS A BLACK BUTTON ON THE FAR LEFT SIDE OF THE BACK OF THE ROUTER!

@gamebrutecom my WPN824 v1 actually came with a little plastic cap with double-stick tape inside, to be stuck over the "disco lights" dome. I bet they had to rush-manufacture those after the unit's initial release! Unfortunately that's your only solution right now - cover the dome with black electrical tape or similar :(

@gdrosemarie I can't sleep at night with the router light on. So yes, it is annoying. It is probably the most irritating light show ever devised by humanity, actually, that I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I'm not exaggerating, either. Who the hell was dumb enough to design a functionally useless flashing light on a router?

Hint: if you put text in your video, make sure it stays there long enough to be read. That is, longer than a second.

Text went by too quickly, the picture of the button was fuzzy and most importantly, this is in the instruction manual so if one hasn't figured it out by now it's doubtful this video is going to magic them into a state of realization.
