All I have is this black and white video and fond memories of watching this. Before music videos the dance group Pan's People would dance to hits of the day. I always liked them, they had a sort of carryover name from the 60s.

  • Happy Valentines!

  • pan's people: their twee routines could be relied on to traduce a great song...QED

    those costumes...epic fail!

  • @4bawbees I sort of like those costumes.....hehe

  • Where can I find the score of this theme? Please help me.

  • @tintin7807 It's by the Barry White Orchestra (yes, that Barry White with the deep voice). And the song is called Love's Theme.

  • Ah yes Ruth. Some people liked Cheri but Ruth was the happiest.

  • This is like, all your fantasies come true! Lovely routine. Lovely girls!

  • @omahri11 Sounds like somebody who's bought into the whole 'white people got no soul ' shit ...Pans People were of their time and the piper called the tunes on their dance routines to hit songs , which many knew they didn't always feel comfortable dancing to .

  • Here we are, talking about Pan's People pretty well 40 years - FORTY YEARS - after their heyday. Surely that says something, and not just because 'retro' is fashionable right now.

Their routines might have been twee &, yes, occasionally klunky & out of sync, but I guarantee you NO-ONE really cared - & millions loved them.

Pan's People are remembered with huge affection & sincere admiration - not least of which was for being one of the first independent female dance troupes on TV.

  • can't dance they stiff as hell now white girls think they got soul hell no they wish...

  • @mocrg deffo ONLY the costumes...realised even as a kid, these were deeply uncool girls destined to marry boring bankers and live in Carshalton cul-de-sacs

  • @4bawbees You were looking at the COSTUMES?!?!??!??!

  • super KAWAII <3
