The benefits of Peripheral Heart Action training are cardio endurance and conditioning because of the minimal rest allowed between sets. Muscle gain will be minimal because you're training in higher heart rates, which tends to burn muscle slightly over time. But it's a great intense cardiovascular workout to throw into your program for a change.

  • I personally love weight training because I love the way well defined muscles looks. I like cardio too and I do a lot of both but Number 1 is weight training. I found that just doing cardio left a lot to be the desired though I got "skinny" I was still flabby. I would fluctuate greatly and I just couldnt seem to hold on to that rockin bod. After I started weight training it took me a little longer than cardio to get back to smokin but it was the best thing I ever did every became tight and perky
