Where I live (NC) it is illegal to have anyhting below 35%. That being said, if you get a ticket all you have to do is take a picture showing it has been removed and they drop the ticket. So, take a picture before you put the tint on, and there you go. Been rolling like that for years with 5%.

I know someone with mirror 5 percent even on the windshield somehow she gets to use her kids and get out of every ticket. Just say you got kids and the doctor says they have to stay out of the sun Boom your outta the ticket. hahhaa
