  • This dude was bad to the bone!

  • this was recorded at the Waterfront Blues festival. to a very anxious and excited crowd! What a GREAT show, rip Jimmy.

  • @SRVMOE no he wasn't his godson!..he just claimed to be that's all he real name wasn't even king!..not taking away from

his playing I mean I have an album called "live at Monterey" and OMG this dude is ridiculous sad to see him gone tho

  • @TheDennisod

He was Godson to Albert King....hence the name Little Jimmy King......

  • I saw this cat live, when he was Albert King's musical director. Albert was having some sound issues (due to a neon Bud light that was causing his amp to buzz). Little Jimmy ran to Alberts aid, bent over, and tried unsuccessfully to dial the wayward amp in. Albert got mad, stopped playing, and nodded for Jimmy to take over, and I could not believe my ears! Eric was huge then, and many years later I found out this was his big brother!

  • Love Little Jimmy King...a sad loss. Really glad that his brother Eric Gales is carrying on and is clean and sober now...God bless him and RIP Jimmy.

  • If you like Little Jimi or his brothers, please check out "Khari Wynn." You will not be disappointed! think when Little Jimi died, he was one of it not THE best blues guitar player living! This guy was bad beyond belief! I have video of this guy from about two weeks before he died at BB King's club in Memphis, Tn. I will post this one day for everyone to enjoy!

  • A real blues player,thank you lord 4 him..P.I.P

  • Man!!! it's just Amazing how most Lefty guitarist ARE AWESOME AS HELL!!! This guy I didn't know up til' NOW!!!! WOW!!! I hate that he's not around any more, What HAPPENED TO HIM? What a serious loss too the world of musicians.

  • Never heard of little JK but I'm digging him. Looks like he's playing a right-handed V upside down and he's got the high E

string on top like Albert King played . Great tone and fire comin out the amp. Looks like he's just using a wah pedal, but I could almost swear there's an Octave device engaged around 3:10.
