ABOUT THIS VIDEO
The AIRFRANCE Airbus A380-800 makes her inaugural visit to London Heathrow Airport. In the video she can be seen making her final approach before landing on Runway 27R.
In operating the A380-800 between Paris CDG and London Heathrow, AIRFRANCE becomes the only airline operating the A380 on short haul routes. These are special flights running Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays between 12 June 2010 - 30 August 2010. She will also be utilised on the route every Friday throughout July.
The flight number for Paris CDG - London Heathrow = AF1980
The flight number for London Heathrow - Paris CDG = AF1981

I was lucky enough to experience this very aircraft (F-HPJB) flying AF1981, and have to say it was the best flight I've ever been on. The Airbus A380 is a fantastic aircraft to fly on as a passenger and I cannot wait to experience such an aircraft again (although I suspect slightly further than LHR - CDG!). I think putting the A380 on this route was an excellent move by Air France, I can't see Lufthansa pulling off a similar trick though :(

@mike1976ful It is MSN 40. No matter how you write it MSN/LN: 40, MSN040 it is still MSN 40 or the 40th A380 to enter production.
