-----

U.S. Senator John Kerry offers an overview of the role climate change has played in the US legislative process. While Kerry criticizes the sluggish pace of climate change legislation, he is also optimistic about the revolutionary laws and policies the US has enacted in the past ten months. For Kerry, these changes are only the stepping stones toward a larger, more comprehensive overhaul of global policies to cut emissions, boost reforestation, and invest in alternative energies. - COP15

John Kerry is the senior United States Senator from Massachusetts, and is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. As the Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party, he was defeated by 34 electoral votes in the 2004 presidential election by President George W. Bush. Senator Kerry is a Vietnam veteran, and was a spokesman for Vietnam Veterans Against the War when he returned home from service. Before entering the Senate, he served as an Assistant District Attorney and Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts under Michael Dukakis, who was nominated for President by the Democrats in 1988.

  • This millionare guy is a loser. Pehaps his billionare wife can pay for the damage her company has contributed to the issue.

  • This scam is only about taxing the masses & maintaining the status QUO!

If the powers to be cared about the poor it would have already been taken care of.

The system is designed to work in its current structure.

If youd like to really influence change remove and replace all the leadership that has taken us here.

Good by Mr. Kerry, time for your resignation. Kindly suggested to all your friends in Washington, submit your resignations before the new-year begins.

    Thank you

  • Creating emotional appeal to cater to the mindless masses. He's stating that climate change displaced a village, when that could have been (and likely was) a very localized event. Thumbs down me all day, lefties.

  • @danieljdeluca Goodbye* and your argument makes about half as much sense as your grammatical errors.

  • @Manjo1981 This is sound thinking alright, the kind of sound you hear right before you get FUCKED

  • Kerry should stick his massive chin between Gore's massive ass-cheeks.

    Problem solved.

  • very sound thinking.

  • if all senators in the US had the insight that Kerry shows to have, the US would have much fewer problems.

  • no, I was making the point that all the people saying the "climate debt" the west owes to the developing world is bullshit since the only reason the developing nations are actually developing is due to technology from the west - the very technology we had to go through the industrial revolution to get.

how about next time you ask someone to clarify their point rather than just launching into immature insults.

  • @liber8me How do they think they are morally superior? I don't see that at all. And what is wrong with them using "western technology", people share information, we trade, that's what we do. We got gunpowder from china; we got small-pom immunizations from Turkey; The Muslim world preserved a lot of mathematics form Greece and India, and eventually it reached the minds of Europeans. They have every right to borrow our technology. You've written a very stupid comment.

  • I get mine from multiple sources. How about you?
