Back in the 50's a diner would serve milkshakes with full cream, burgers, fries, apple pie's all cooked with lard. Yet, people were so much slimmer back then. Portion sizes of food have become way to big these days, and kids aren't playing actively like they used to. Ironically westernized countries are much more unhealthy these days. Despite, the growing number of healthy options.

my dad tells me about growing up in the 50s all the time..burgers for 5 cents.shakes for a dime.5 bucks gets you a weeks worth of groceries,gas was 17 cents a gallon....makes me want to go back and see it all.
