Prairie Hill Dragway Top Dragster Record Setter 082209

This Top Dragster is the current record holder with a 4.329 second run in the 1/8 mile at 164 miles per hour. This dragster is powered by a blown alcohol 496 cubic inch hemi. Praire Hill Dragway is becoming known for it's faster race cars and the track gets better as time goes by. Poehls built and drives this dragster and has a two man pit crew. The run in the video was a 4.45 second run and was cut short by a blower belt breaking about 100 feet short of the finish line. Poehls other dragster had also set track record last year before he rolled it in the light but still managed a new track record that night, even if he was rolling upside down in the timing lights as he went through.
