@netpolice151 Thats what judo/jujitsu is all about... having the confidence to do that even on concrete and knowing how to fall

Not that this wasn't a cool move or anything, but I kinda agree that if you got to force a submission than it's obviously not a submission worth doing there. When it comes to submissions, much like the other aspects of fighting (be it street or sport fighting) you want them to be fluid like water (in the great words of Bruce Lee, rest his soul).

@FactoryClosure I would test his grip. People in BJJ class try that jump pull guard, as soon as they jump up my palms immediatley plant on there lower abdomen and I push down, works every time

@greenbay357 How would you push him to the ground, if the only way he's ever going to try it is if he has a hold on you. You can't push him off, he's attached to you.

if someone tried that on me I would just push him to the ground as soon as he jumps up. than I would roundhouse kick him stright to the dome

@netpolice151 nah, it's too fast for the person to just let you fall. They would be trying to stay up with their body weight and in turn would drop you slowly to the ground.
