Final Fantasy III (AppStore) : First look 1/8 by Famitsu : To the Crystal

Square Enix will launch in march a remake of Final Fantasy III on iPhone and iPod Touch based on the Nintendo DS version. Here is a first look for this incoming port.

This may be a stupid question but I am thinking of getting this game but I was wondering is the story linked to the other 2? Like is this this game a separate story or does it sort of continue of the other games?(Sorry for being a FF noob)

@XReneGadEr No it is not. Each Final Fantasy has a brand new world and story (except Final Fantasy X-2 and the future Final Fantasy XIII-2)

@Muamarz Hmm, Square Enix starts to release "Smartphone" games on Android. But it seems to take time... And I am not sure that all the already-release games will be port on Android...
