Brilliant performance. I do however prefer a more energetic interpretation of the second part.

@Felberkarb64 I agree. I used to have many beautiful songs memorized, now I can hardly play them WITH the music. Time to start practicing again. It all starts with one song. You can do it!

@Felberkarb64 I lost my classical guitar years ago when I moved back from Spain and have only played contemporary styles for years (banging out a few chords while singing)... I recently got a beautiful Jose Ramirez and with less than a couple of weeks I'm playing (simple) things better than I could before. It's a lot like riding a bike. Especially the reading. Anyway, for anyone that has 'lost' their ability to play this stuff, it's not nearly as difficulty to relearn it as we imagine...

I am currently learning this piece, and it's sounding so bad! Then i hear you play it and it's full of passion and emotion, and it pushes me to work on the piece harder because of how beautiful it sounds! (:

Are you kidding? Gran Vals is easy compared to Marieta- at the very least, to me.
-
is marieta harder than gran vals?

my buddy called this the "Italian mobster song" i thought.... it fit....

This one of the most haunting pieces of music I've ever heard. Such wonderful playing to accompany it. Bravo!

Dear Nicolas,
Thank you. I am happy to hear I can inspire you. You know, Tarrega composed so many pieces. (more than me) and many are very difficult. My favorite is Capricho Arabe. I play it here. Please have a listen. It would be great if you played it some day.
Good luck!!
