@Vaylen104 well in the hands of a skilled person, its possible. USAAF B-24 co-pilot named Owen J. Baggett shot down a Japanese Zero with a freaking pistol in March of 1943. What happened was that bailed out of his bomber after it was shot down, and while still parachuting, the zero came in to shoot him down. Baggett took out his pistol and shot 4 shots at the zero ,and the zero went down. It was confirmed at the crash site the pilot had a bullet in his head. Talk about luck and balls...

I would say that if that part of the mission isn't filled with Ace pilots who can bend laws of physic to their will, and If the weapon he was using is guided missile.
