First time I see the sound of these old Gibson archtops well captured on youtube.
Your playing seems to suggest you see them as an alternative to flat top guitars which i think they're not, but i think the use of an archtop bridge with bone saddle would get you closer to that sort of sound, while still keeping a pre-war Gibson vibe.
A testament to just how well Gibson make guitars when you have one that can still play 74 years (2012) after it was made.
