The creation of the Gardens' new three-level parking structure between York & Josephine streets will increase parking from 180 spaces to more than 300 parking spaces. Great comments by Larry Knowles during this video.

Gardens long-time volunteer Larry Knowles, videographer, shared this video with us that he took between Nov. 2008 and Aug. 2009. The still shot is of the steps leading to our old parking deck, taken right after construction started last year. The video portion shows the progress of the construction.

Please watch the entire video to get the full effect of the construction process. Or visit some highlights:
0:24 - Nov. 26, 2009: Great opening sequence
3:30 - May 6: Construction in full force
6:00 - June 10: Concrete outer walls are almost complete
7:05 - June 24: Concrete outer walls complete
7:35 - July 17: Larry drives into the parking structure for the first time (attending the The Shop at the Gardens grand opening)
9:35 - See installation of some of the new planting around the structure
