my community tank 10 gallon (planted)

just another updated tank video for all you youtubers!!! (5/1/2010). new things are the 5 black neon tetras, 5 cherry barbs, 3 kuhli loaches. i transferred the zebra danios to my other 10g tank and BUD the smaller pleco died so did my female pearl gourami... also got my 3rd betta MAXIMILLIAN since MAXIMUS died (r.i.p.) hope this guy lasts!

very pretty tank! a little crowded but if you keep up with the water changes it can work. get a 20+ gallon tank if you want to keep those gouramis comfortably and complete some of your schools.

@zunedog31 well if you checked out my updated tank, you'll see taht i lost some fish so i have more reasonable number now for a 10g.

I'm not going to lie to you, but because no one has told you yet, I will say it; YOU NEED A BIGGER TANK OR TANK SOME OF THE FISHES OUT. Do some research before you set up a tank. I'm not trying to call you out or something. It's for your own good. Unless you keep on wanting to see your fish die, look up "cycling an aquarium" and "overstocking and aquarium".

This is a nicely aquascaped tank, with beautiful fish! But the comment below is completely accurate. And buying a bigger tank "some day" does not work. Those fish are suffering now. You may want to consider selling/giving a few back to your LFS. That way, you can enjoy the wonderful tank you have, plus enjoy even healthier fish. Best of luck.

i have fake plants in my tank right now say i want to add beta bulbs do i just toss them in and let them grow? theirs no dangers to a water change that betta bulbs can cause i few years ago i tossed some in and my betta got fin rot a few days after

@TheConfuzzled12 well my tank looks much diferent now. and you cant really clean the gravel especially if you ahve special gravel like JBL PROFLORA start, which is like soil and if i stick a gravel cleaner, i'll just turn my tank even dirtier and brown. and i also have plants which hold the gravel in place. best thing you can do is ahve a good filter. i use a eheim2211, i'm planning to buy 1 more
