SUCCHIAMANZO Trailer pt. 2

Succhiamanzo ["Meatsucker"] is a grotesque melologue for male voice and string quintet written by Giovanni Dettori for the actor/singer Beppe Ferrara.
It is the story of a frustrated employee who changes his sexual identity becoming a woman and working as a prostitute.
It is a research on language (mixing explicit sexual language with latin quotation, etc.) and on music (mixing ancient style music with pop style tunes, etc.).
The show was greatly enriched by the superb performance of Beppe Ferrara, who stays on stage for an hour acting and singing.
This trailer was shot during a live performance in Gheroarte', Corsico (MI), Italy, on April 2007.
