Electric LadyLand / One Rainy wish - Jimi Hendrix

This is the Outake version of the Electric Ladyland guitar part Played through A Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe into a Marshall 100watt head and 4x12 cab. The One Rainy Wish version is just something I like to play about with on my own sometimes, same setup as before both recorded 5 minutes apart. Hope you guys enjoy.

WAY cool. You've got the feel of the real thing and you're experiencing it for yourself out of love for the sound instead of the desire to be recognized as having "got the Hendrix part down dude". I don't see the pose and chops stupidity so many do. Your tone is great and playing soulful.

Nicely played.I'm glad so many people are still so into Hendrix, there's so much rubbish out there. Hendrix's music is still fresh, I think it's still ahead of its time. So much of the guitar playing I hear now is just mindless shredding, no doubt technically brilliant, but totally empty;it just leaves me cold.I guess I'm thinking of people like Malmsteen et al. Thanks for posting this, happy playing.M

Yeah I agree with you, Not sure whats happened with Malmsteen these last few years he just plays fast all the time. The first album by him was amazing 'rising force' back in 1984. He used to have a real cool tone and great feel but its all gone now.

I mean I can understand if someones all turned on at a live show and covers because they want to show their propers.
