It's totally possible a man named jesus existed during this period, but I don't see any reason to believe any of the claims made for him by the bible authors. Still, I'd be interested in knowing how and why historians believe that he most certainly existed. On what basis do they make that claim? But even if they all lived, how would we know they wrote these gospels and said what they said? There is no way.For all we know, the early church fathers could have fabricated much of this.
