TWILIGHT: The soft dim light that occurs when the sun is just below the horizon after sunset

ABOUT THE CORONADO HOUSE: This house is an organically designed two story house in Laguna Beach California, sitting along a ridge high above Laguna Canyon Road. The architecture was intended to be part of the landscape, perhaps suggesting a rock outcropping. The mail level is built around a geometry of flowing curves connecting all the main spaces organically, orgnanized around a two story wall of glass and protected by a floating curvalinear roof. The lower level contains the sleeping rooms and an atrium adjacent to teh glass wall, which opens onto a terrace with a large spa. The kitchen and family rooms share space and open onto a large entertaining terrace through a dissappearing glass door. The entry is located along a curved line of frameless glass panels, the door being one of the panels which opens, and is accessed from a landscaped private courtyard. Thus the lines of indoor and outdoor are blurred.

ABOUT ARCHITECT DAVID M. PARKER: David Parker studied fine art and environmental design at California State University, Fullerton, Ca., and today is in private practice in Laguna Beach, California, specializing in custom residential. Some of the architects which have influenced his work are Frank Lloyd Wright, John Lautner, Bart Prince, and Ricardo Legorreta. He is currently writing a book with the working title: "Beyond Style: The Ultimate House".

ABOUT CINEMATOGRAPHER CRAIG HUNG: Craig Hung is owner of CyberHung Productions Studios (CP Studios) in Orange County, an independent media production studio. Though strongly rooted in filming to editing for motion pictures, his services extend to still photography, graphic design, web design, and more.

ABOUT COMPOSER LUDOVICO EINAUDI: (born 23 November 1955) is an Italian contemporary classical music composer and pianist. Born in Turin, Italy, Einaudi's mother played to him on the piano as a child. He began his musical training at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan, gaining a diploma in composition. Later, he studied with Luciano Berio. In 1982, he gained a scholarship to the Tanglewood Music Festival. He currently resides on a vineyard in the Italian region of Piedmont. His music is ambient, meditative and often introspective, drawing on minimalism, world music, and contemporary pop. He has made a significant impact in the film world, with four international awards to his name.

Good call, although I did not consciously allude to Legorreta, he is one of my favorite architects. Other influences are Lautner, Wright, Calatravas, and Bart Prince.
