DeMarco lives in a homeless shelter with his two boys near Detroit. At 45 years-old, DeMarco always thought life would be different. But because of a few mistakes and the economy he is forced to start over.

Life for a single parent is hard, now add homelessness and life becomes a daily challenge! DeMarco talks about being a single dad and raising kids in while homeless.

  • This is seriously an offer if any one wants to know pass it on free holidays in ireland,Ive been there Im not a rich man in fact poor,,Imm terminally ill and want to help before I kick it..

  • he needs to get out of detroit.

  • At least he seems positive and hopeful. I'm sure his kids keep him going.

  • This poor man. I hope and really pray that things work out for him.

  • Italy, my country, is about to cancel the article in our constitution that prevents employers to fire an employee without a valid reason (which is not "economy is going badly"), and I'm afraid we will soon need an "invisible people tv" here as well :/

  • september 2012?

  • where is this...

  • Sad to say the odds are so against this man it is not even funny. I know how tough I have had it not doing drugs they look for ever minute imperfection and use it against me. Now a days they background check then they do things to try to set you up. I was denied a job because I admitted to smoking when I was a teen I am now over 40 can you believe that? When I was a teen weed was everywhere even the police smoked in my home town. Ron Paul 2012

  • Hey can u get in cont. With this guy for me, I would like to speak with him. Let me know pls.

  • Mark, when did you film this? Green trees and shirtsleeves is NOT Detroit in January!!! Solid Ground is a wonderful organization doing fantastic things in Macomb County!! The rotating shelter he refered to was likely MCREST which also is doing great things. BUT there is more that needs to be done here in Southeast Michigan and the whole ciuntry for that matter I hope your vids wake people up to this fact.
