This is Part II of the Opalesque.TV interview with Phil Goldstein, the co-founder and principal of Bulldog Investors.

In this Opalesque.TV interview, Phil Goldstein talks about the value of Bulldog's track record in waging full proxy fights, and how their reputation helps them to work with management to unlock value in publicly traded equity and debt securities. Bulldog investors has launched over 35 full proxy fights since 1996, more than any other firm in that timeframe, earning a reputation as a prominent activist investing firm.

Phil Goldstein sued the SEC in 2005, resulting in the Goldstein v SEC decision. This historic case ruled that the SEC overstepped its limits when it tried to force hedge funds into mandatory registration.
