so I just came from a Jazz Band at my college. and my friend played the soprano sax which wowed me! and using the sop. sax in this so awesome memorable song, is just pure genius. Could you do some songs from chrono cross? 600 A.D. played in this way seems so.... slow jazz like or maybe even blues. I love this :D play it at a jazz club or something. and everyone will be swaying to it trust me, regardless if they know the song or not!

Beautifully played, guys. Keep it up!

Juste sublime ! Bravo !

I listened to both versions you two posted...regardless with or without effects, they're both wonderful.
Nice tone on the sax too. I probably would have only worked on phrasing a bit in a few places though (can hear it mostly in the non-reverb version).
But this was really quite nice. Thanks for sharing =).

How pretty and nostalgic! I was iffy before listening since I'm not a sax fan, but you guys really made that work while still keeping true to the original. <3

iv never seen a soprano saxophone before. are they similar to the alto and tenor?

@Plingdom: The ambitus (lowest pitch to upper pitch playable) is different.
As for the strings family (Contrabass, Cello, Viola, Violin), you have: bass, tenor, alto and soprano saxophones. More type of saxophone exists (baryton, etc.). So with this soprano, you can play highest pitch than the tenor do :)

It's a soprano saxophone!
Samuel is using two saxophone on videos we do: a TENOR and a SOPRANO saxophone.
The soprano goes on higher notes than the tenor ;-)
