The day will come when we must bid farewell to this most wonderful man. I hope that day does not come soon, but when it does I will not mourn. I will rejoice that I got to live in the same world with this man, that once I met him, and that he was a profound influence on my musical and political life. And for Pete himself his longevity has blessed him to see so many of his dreams realized.
