Nat 'King' Cole - 'I'm Through With Love'

If I close your eyes you can imagine very vividly what this song's feel is. What I imagine is like a restaurant that you go to every Saturday night with perfectly dimmed lights. You're once again seated by the waitress you know so well. Every time you order the same thing. And every Saturday this singer who you've never quite seemed to ask the name of comes in at 8:30 on the dot and sings this song every time. After singing it you enjoy it more and more every time. Kinda sets a mood.

What an absolutely definitive voice!

Gus Kahn also wrote the lyric for my other theme song: I Fall In Love Too Easily. :-)

First time i heard this song was in 1975 as a little boy - Alfalfa of the Little Rascals sang it on their show once and did a good job of it; all these years the song stuck with me. For a little boy, i was strangely romantic

ok first i noticed "nature boy" was a song by some one called "Nat King Cole", Then the song from The Parent Trap "L.O.V.E." now this... WHY I HAD NEVER HEAD OF HIM BEFORE? this man is a titan!

I was never big fan of Nat King Cole, except of course "Paper Moon." But this is an excellent rendition of this timeless classic. Thanks for the upload.

Awesome!
This is the reason music transcends time....They didn't call him the "KING" for nothing. Thanks pal for sharing this great song .

I have a 1930's Bing Crosby recording of this great song, but I think this Nat King Cole version is the definitive one.
Thank you for sharing.
