  • I am a 50 year resident of public housing. My parents moved into Pomonok houses when I was 4 months old. I raised my own family here. I am a working person in public housing. I pay $1000/month rent to live in my 2 bedroom apartment while my neighbor above me pays $250/month to live in the same apartment. Stop trying to balance the deficit in public housing on the backs of the working families here. If I could afford to live somewhere else, I would. Management caters to those on public assistance
