A Little Princess - Ep. 1 3/3 - english original version

This one is the third part of the first episode from "Little Princess". It's a mini series of six episodes containing the story of Sara Crewe, a girl born in India as the daughter of a British officer and his french wife. Sara's mother died years ago, so her father and her abigail are the only people who are still able to care for her . In this episode Sara arrives at Miss Minchin's boarding school to get educated knowing noone there.
The fact that Sara's a rich girl effectuate being treated with supremacy by Miss Minchin, that's why some girls are jealous of Sara. But there are some more problems she has to break down, just watch and enjoy the videos.

I know its all a matter of opinion, but this adaptation seems closer to the FHB book then the movie. The movie takes place in NY, does not take into account rigid class distinction in this time. You could not obtain a higher place in society then that which your parents obtained. Also Miss Michen is seen as somewhat sympathetic in this series which is much closer to what the book lays out. Miss M. is no hero but she has her reasons for being a hardened character which this at least alludes to.

This is actually really good series, didn't think it would be nearly as good as the movie but it's almost as good as the movie!! I think so anyway. Good series!
