Ro-ros don't look pretty, but this one is better lokking than most. I'd imagine that a bridge amidships or aft would be more comfortable in a storm....?

Freight ferries are the best ships I've ever sailed on.
They're fast, manoeuvrable and you have the best view when the bridge is located on the forward, especially in bad weather !
Reliable as well, because mostly equipped with more than one main engine. Fast loading and unloading (except in Belgium Ports). Good stability when carefully ballasted.
