Jesus was an extra terrestrial.

If you're going to dismiss the Amanita in Christianity themes, you've got to deal with the thousands of Christian icons that plainly depict the Amanita muscaria. However, in our book we clearly discuss both mushrooms and how they were actually used TOGETHER - which is the ultimate secret of alchemy, which you - "unfortunately' - overlooked. There are also ancient texts that discuss AM as related to the Apples. This was published in my last book, and others can be found in the Kabala.

@mushroomjesus Psilocybin does play a minor role on some of the Christian themes and paintings, but not near as much as Amanita. If you weren't so biased, spreading false info about deaths that haven't been reported, then you might have something. But the iconography and texts, especially that in the Zohar, discuss a RED mushroom. Look at the iconography and study the texts before making conclusions about other cultures and applying them to this one.

@TheOneartist Well, where's your research to back that statement? How do you deal with it in light of the other 40+ years of academic research on this topic? How do you know that we didn't already address this issue in our book? Who cares about "non-NIV" translations? I have sover 30 translations, and I also look up the meanings of the original words in Hebrew, as it outlined in the book. Just because YOU think this or that, bears NADA on history or the facts thereof.

@GnosticMedia LOL I know your comment is 2 years old, but you're one of the top ones.
A point I want to make is that the non-NIV translations of the Old Testament describe manna as little white round things, which matches psilocybin mushrooms. Amanitas can have damaging effects on the body as opposed to psilocybin. Not to discount your research, though. I don't doubt there have been many Christians who've used the Amanita muscaria, but I believe that psilocybin is the true manna.

I have picked hundreds of mushrooms even at night on a full moon in the 70's they always grew out of cow manure after a good rain. Mushrooms I can tell you do infact make you clairvoient or able to see around the corner in a sense. Listen mushrooms almost at once make you smarter. You right away assume a much superior sense of being you actually becime smarter you can feel it! It lasts after your little ride slows down and stops. Every time you do mushrooms you get smarter and smarter! All true!

@mushroomjesus I agree psilocybin over amanita anyday but some ppl apparently get a good strong reaction.. it has to do how the muscol.. converts in the liver. but even high dose psilocybin is comparatively weak compared to high dose dmt experiences.. ~peace

"Suits", as well as "hippie" types like to take drugs recreationally. Remember William F. Buckley? The authorities don't want peopl 2 take drugs Bcause drugs will make them happy, and NOT want to go 2 work, (or pay taxes!) Substitute......breathe in deeply, excercise moderately, take LOTS of showers, (allows your pores to "breathe"), and rest a LOT. (Remembr, depriving people of sleep is a kind of torture....so REST....take power naps!) Go to diffent places..sink in ATMOSPHERES!

just don't listen to scientists.. we are our own "scientist" the true shamans of this earth
The Jesus as a Penis story was started by Gordon Wasson against John Allegro. There was no story ever published by that title, nor was it published in the News of the World as Wasson claimed. For the latest research on this topic, see The Holy Mushroom by Jan Irvin - wherein all of the details and exact arguments and conversations are laid bare for all to see.

Who is this Jan Irwin? In Europe, there are great Amanita paintings... it's what they had. But the round head period where they worshiped cows, and the Tassili Plateau mushroom man--had to be psilocybin which is psychedelic, not psychosomatic like the amanita which can KILL people--I'm sticken with Terrence Mckenna and Paul Stamets... I like gnosticmedia, but you gotta admit, an achaic revival would be better if there was a psilocybin resurgence instead of Amanita...

what do you think about reaching some sort of altered state in meditation VS your method. which do you think would be more helpful, and have you tried the meditation path before? i dont want to try any drugs, even if there not bad for your health, just like being safe to my body.
tigerhearted87 2 years ago
Well, safe in the body is good for ordinary living modes, but we all die, and psilocybin which mimic DMT in the brain gives a person the sense of being alive and dead at the same time... not a "safe" feeling, but an awake feeling... It is hard to integrate the experience into everyday life, but the whole point is to show a person that their regular perceptions are EXTREMELY limited... meditation is great, but to altar perception, it takes years... psilocybin can give a glimpse
