  • Do you think the P-bass neck could handle the high tension of La'bella flat wounds ?

  • @TRJBASS - Sure, just keep the neck straight so you don't keep a bowed neck under tension.

  • Did the 50's squier p bass or the RI 51 fender have flat wounds?

  • @NapoleanXV - No.

  • What's that color of the second right jazz bass at 2:13 ??

    Please tell me?

  • @daltonauto - Seafoam Green.

  • Damn, that squier jazz just got owned!

  • AAAhhhh...the off voice is so dumb

  • I love your White P bass with the maple neck. Does Fender make anything similar from Japan? I know they have a 70's RI, but it's not really accurate..

  • I own a Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass.... and I prefer the sound of the Squires in this video :(

  • Somehow the squiers seemed a bit brighter in their sound. The originals sounded so smooth, yeah!

  • The squiers sounds so good cuz they got new stings!

  • @cottonfever1221 How will the neck hold out as it ages, are the frets all even ETC..These are some of the things that dont get talked about,DONT KID YOURSELF OR ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE BULLCRAPPED INTO BELIEVING THESE ARE MADE AS WELL AS THE JAPANESE MODELS. They dont use the same quality wood nor is it pre aged, the finish is thick and the natural wood tone gets muddled, they are heavy cuts of wood, the fretwork is marginal at best and the pickups are'nt close to the Jap quality, research yourself!

  • Remember alot of a basses tone can be altered by a GOOD bassplayer, meaning a better player can coax better tones from a lower quality bass,Mowtown has a story that goes like this"a bassplayer was doing studio work and the p-bass being used had terrible intonation and nothing could hide it,Jamerson was nextdoor drinking and was asked to play the part but his bass was'nt with him,he took the "intonation troubled" bass and layed the hook. Theres more than just snazzy finishes that make a bass.

  • damn, i now wanna squier

  • Personally I hear the noticeable difference only between Jazzes ... and yes Fender obv. ways ahead. The rest of the stuff was pretty close actually.
