Against the backdrop of post-Katrina New Orleans, Dr. Henry Jekyll (Chris), a socialite and surgeon, is trying to get his life back on track and remarry his ex-wife. Things begin to derail when he is reunited with Hyde (Elisabeth Moss), a much younger woman and former flame who broke up his marriage the first time around. Hyde is back in town working with an anarchist relief organization, trying to rebuild the city and start over, but ultimately the two cannot resist each other and begin their dark descent.

I want I want I want to see this! And I so wanted to go to New Orleans for mardi gras this weekend, but, as always, school comes in the way of everything that is fun. But oh dear, Chris Eccleston! I can't wait. To the troll below, I have to ask, do you call "Jeg er Dina" and "Jude" bad movies? As for the other thing he/she/it mentioned I have only this to say, how do these trolls get so imaginative?

Christopher Eccleston in bad movies?! Absolutely not!! I wouldn't call either "Jude", "I am Dina", "Elizabeth" or the other movies he has been in for bad, - they aren't Hollywood-films, no, but seriously, many Hollywood films aren't as good as many make them and many actors in Hollywood (NOT ALL!!) are more famous because of looks than of talent and hard work.

This movie is a bit of an homage/reimagining of a classic French film called "Hiroshima, Mon Amour" -- also about love and memory amidst a devastated city. In that movie, the characters' names aren't mentioned -- they're listed as "Elle" (her) and "Lui" (him).

So basically, "Jekyll" and "Hyde" aren't their actual names, I'm guessing. They're just affectionate titles for the two characters in the film (i.e. they go together like Jekyll and Hyde).

CE seems like an actor who works really hard and then he has an extreme talent! And I love that he choses films from how well they are written and not how famous he's going to be!

..and for the nude-scenes; I'm not the one complaining ;) If used right nude scenes can be much more 'effective' and 'intimate' as forinstance in I am Dina..

and I don't even want to comment on the abuse-thing!! I hate gossip! It's stupid!

Anyway, I'm really, really looking forward to see this film out!
