The sound quality aside ( it's recorded on my phone!), "The Other Side Of Life", when stripped back to just an acoustic guitar and vocal ,shows how pretty the song really is.

The original is on Japan's 1979 masterpiece "Quiet Life". The tuning is DADGBE, and the guitar is a Yamaha LL16.

Just spent the last hour viewing your vids!!! Brilliant!! I've been a massive Japan fan since the early 80's and dabbled with the fretless bass in a couple of bands back in the day. I just never seem to tire of hearing there music. I gotta say bro that is probably the best cover of any Japan song anyone has been brave enough to do! Hats off, take a bow!
