  • @matt5421 Cummins doesn't use glow plugs, they use grid heaters. glow plugs heat the air in the cylinders, grid heaters heat the air in the intake.

  • All diesel engines use glow plugs gas engines use spark plugs that's why when it's cold it's hard to start a diesel because glowplugs have to get warm enough to combust diesel fuel

  • lol did that retard say glow plug? I didn't know they made a cummins with glow plugs!

  • I was wondering a couple things....has this engine had any major repairs on it yet (i.e. anything that could be considered a rebuild or overhaul)?

    Also, this might sound like a random question, but what's all that black stuff on the ground that came out of the exhaust right after the engine started?
