A nice mellow track from this album, very little info on this one-album band, some reviews from RYM:
1. Typical late 1970s sax lead funky jazz fusion, but with some inspired guitar leads. Dealers are trying hard to compare with Placebo, but no way. More like the later albums by Release Music Orchestra, Nova, Aera and countless obscurities like Patchwork, Michael Borner's Sun, CCPP, and, well, seemingly a million others from this time frame.
2. Ears perked up; I'm delighted
3. A very generic, middle-of-the-road, medium-intensity 70s Fusion album with one foot in the Blues Rock past and one foot in the Holdsworth future. Lots of fluid and sensitive electric guitar, keyboard, and violin. The lead melodies and harmonies are the strong point here; rhythmically it's bland. The last track is a throwaway diversion with some 70s funk moves and vocals. "At the Race Track (One Afternoon)" is a 4-star Fusion gem.
4. Really great instrumental jazz rock.
...Hey man that's my band..............only 300 pieces of this album.........Denis Van Hecke, the cello left us last week....
