@markee871 Jennifer Hudson, Gabrielle Union, and Kelly Rowland have also been on beautiful women lists and they're dark skinned. These women have been on magazine covers as well. We're changing as a society and welcoming more types of physical characteristics as beauty. It's a slow changing process, but you can't change prejudice over night. Girls and some guys go crazy over Usher, Will Smith, and Kal Penn and they're all darker skinned with deep ethnic characteristics.

@LilaAbubakhoum But if you look at rhianna/beyonce, theyre black but they look WHITE! the media still caters to western beauty. Even the black celebs look white! have white features/light skin,etc.The western idealof beauty will always be there. None of the others you mentioned are black or even dark skin. American edia has a preference, a strong preference for light skin and certain features. Look at magazines, the darkest one looks white! this is a long issue

@markee871 Iran is deemed the world's nose job capital, but naturally, our noses are are fine. Narrow noses are a trait of Iranians which is how you can tell if someone is Persian. I agree a lot of cultures try to model beauty based on Western standards, but Western beauty has expanded far beyond blonde hair, blue eyes. and white skin. Rihanna, Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian, and Eva Longoria are all women who have been on American beauty lists. America thinks color is beautiful.

@LilaAbubakhoum Youre not fooling anyone. The nose job capital of the world is IRAN! look up every source and ask every Iranian! nose jobs are huge over there! I think IRANIANS ARE THE TOP BEAUTIFUL IN THE WORLD! i HAVE NOTHIGNG BUT LOVE FOR IRANIAN WOMEN! I give credit where its due! I never said you arent proud, I just said a reality. Youre also not fooling anyone, we all know that certain cultures want to imitate western idea of beaut. which is sad.

@markee871 That's the biggest lie in the world. We're a group of people who are proud to be who we are. We already have that small nose naturally, that's a common Persian trait that a lot of other people wish they had, which is why we're so desired. I know I'm a good looking woman, and there's no way I would ever want to be white, EVER. I'm fine being me, and I know most Persian women are.... Also dying your hair blonde doesn't mean you want to be white haha lol

what was you're point again ? other nations consider a lot of things that might be true or they might not be. learn about the demographics of iran and former persia.iran has a very diverse population read about it. and yes all nations have beautiful women but that has nothing to do with the conversation.
