are dwarf Hotots rare to find?
xSweetHeartxD 2 years ago
They tend to be difficult to find, yes. I believe there are just a little over 50 breeders in the registry including the US and Canada.

oooo... was it hard to find a hotots bunny for you?
xSweetHeartxD 2 years ago
Well, it was hard when I was first hoping to find one (7-1/2 years ago) and I ended up getting another rabbit instead. When I moved to PA I found a breeder and bought a pair (male and female) and would breed them MAYBE 1x-2x a year when she wanted to mate. The babies in this video were from 2 of my bunnies. All of the baby white bunnies (all white) in my videos were babies of my bunnies as well. Try googling: adhrc and click breeders on the bottom right. I know an exceptional breeder in FL. GL!

Hey! I am geting a rabbit and I want a Dwarf Hotot but are the good with 2 year olds?

Would you consider ANY pet to be GOOD with a 2 year old? Rabbits are gentle animals and need to be handled with care. If your child were to drop a bunny there's a good chance of a severe injury such as broken bones or even a broken back which would leave the rabbit paralyzed and you'd need to have it "put down". The avg. age of rabbits lifespan is 6-10yrs. so if you plan on getting one then keep an eye on your child with the bunny and when they're older they should do better with a bunny.
