Actually he carried her off the stage after every curtain call. This time she seemed to hug him extra tight because it was for the last time.

@GreaseAddict27 Laura stayed on Broadway where's she's still getting leading roles. Max has fallen back into the obscurity whence he came, confined to minor dork roles in teen movies.

Oh my goodness! is the the girl (Laura) who will be playing Hope Harcourt in the revival of Anything Goes?!?!

Laura went on to better things on Broadway. She now has the regular female lead in "South Pacific." Max, unfortunately, has not done so well. Just a supporting role in a minor teen romance that hasn't been released yet. I fear he's doomed to obscurity.
