First off agreed, not a cappella because the piano is obviously there. Second, Stop singing with your hands! If someone is in front of you, they'd lose an eye. A bit pitchy, especially at the end but not terrible. Only thing... It's not a dirge. Listen to the words! "I sing because I'm happy" not I smile. Smiling is all well and good but when you sing it at almost half tempo it makes it look like either your or the pianist can't keep up with it. Sing faster and work on your low range and then ok

@juliemusic87 Yeah, you're right, it is a guitar, so it's not a cappela, now we all agree. It also was just a bit pitchy, but don't get all bent out of shape. It is hard to sing without much music to accompany you. I also have a day job, lol. While the song could be a bit faster, it doesn't have to be. Just make it sound happier. Keep on singing, you are still better than most.

this song is very very hard to sing and only a few people can hit the notes that need to be hit... i am impressed in the fact that you attempted... and all those saying she cant sing gospel need help.... gospel is sang from the heart .... you put your heart and soul into it.. i think you have a beautiful voice just pick a song that makes you want to let go... and you will be just fine... dont listen to these other people that think gospel is used for a singing contest... pfffff

this is a very good song and very well sung. you people who say her voice is not meant for gospel that may be but she is not attempting to make gospel records as far as i know. she sings this song because she loves GOD which apparently more of you need to do. Being Christian means to be Christ like , so tell me how is bashing this girl because she likes this song but may not have a gospel voice make you Christ like. I will pray for you all.
