Grandma Moses is one of my most favorite, of all the artists. Americana/Folk Art is just so beautiful, basic & homey. Her winterscapes are among my most favorite of all. Amazing woman & artist. Great video!!

Thank you so much for posting these painting online. Grandma Moses did needlepoint until she began to paint at age 76. The intricate detailing in her paintings probably comes from her background in needlepoint. I love her paintings. Fran

Yes, i love her paintings and especially the story of her life and having undertaken a new "hobby" at the age of 76. The first three slides here are her needlepoint, the rest are paintings. Thanks for your comment.
