Joe Lewis studied with the influential martial artist and Jeet Kune Do founder Bruce Lee. Hong Kong cinema historian Bey Logan says Lewis was the original pick of Bruce Lee for the villain Colt in Way of the Dragon, but that Lee and Lewis had a falling out before the film and thus Chuck Norris was tabbed instead. Bruce Lee Taught Him Many Things That Made Him A Better Fighter. Footage From Bruce Lee's Own Collection Of Martial Arts Footage.

  • Sheez. I truly don't know why anybody who knows the least bit of American martial arts history regarding competition -- especially in the 1960s -- could believe that the man in black is Bruce Lee, not Joe Lewis. The guy in black is clearly MUCH bigger than Lee ever was. Compare the videos of Lee at the Internationals. Also: Lee fought right foot forward, unlike the dude in black; Lee never competed in American karate tournaments; Lee never wore a karate gi, black or otherwise --

  • @legkicker01 The only way Bruce would have fought someone like JOE is if it were for REAL.Bruce called himself a student master and was old school from the motherland.Master's all they do is perfect their art and wait for challenges and from the time he arrived in the states in 59 he had been challenged by Karate men in seattle to The Bay Area's Best Kung Fu Man.The man fought for REAL with NO RULES & NO REFERREE were the winner didnt receive a TITLE,TROPHY or MONEY just the HONOR from WINNING.

  • @legkicker01

it is exactly same kind of donuts like that british boy, Gary Elms, called by some "trustful" sources " british boxing champion", or that extras on Big Boss in order to suggest as Bruce would have been challenged by a MT. Even Toni Liu told something like "was a stuntman who practiced Muay Thai". But some "trusful" spreader called him furter "MT fighter" or " Thai Boxer".

  • @legkicker01

hahaha...that was a scenario uke-nage, like one step sparing in karate (you do this, then freeze and i do that). Bruce said to Lewis "jab me". He did that, and Bruce asked him to repeat. After 3 identical moves, Bruce catch the timimg and executer that combo 1-2-3 from EOD (open scene with S Hung ). Ted Wong, after 2 or 3 days, started to say Bruce kicked JL ass. Joe Lewis took that exactly as it was, a simple drill repetition practice. No way of sparing or something like this.

Moron! told you to read the links I provided in my other video v=5mQ1VgKaNKY ! Or just grab the book The Tao of Bruce Lee, it's all recorded there, read it yourself first dumbarse!

  • @IpMan19

You are the one who's insisted that Lee actually kicked Lewis's butt. So, you are obligated to provide the solid evidence to back up your claim. In front of Lee's other students? Who exactly were they?

  • @legkicker01

Well, you haven't seen it doesn't mean it didn't happen, others have witnessed his fights, as simply as that, just because you are so bad luck to be borned too late, Lewis already said he got punched by Bruce Lee in front of his other students, go to read those websites I provided in the other video, moron!

  • @IpMan19

When was the last time you saw Lee actually fought for real? Don't make up your own story. Lewis has never stated such nonsense.

  • @legkicker01

It's because you never wake up from masturbating yourself as you never see Bruce real fighting and refuse to read the fact of what of dream idol said about how he got ass kicked by Bruce.
