Dubbio (aka Doubt) - Bloodshots 2009

Synopsis: An aging millionaire begins to doubt the motivations of his young wife.

Notes: Made for the 2009 Bloodshots Vancouver 48 Hour Horror Film Contest. Recipient of "Honorable Mention" by the jury. This is the original 48 hour version. Shot on Tri-X Super 8 film and hand processed to a negative, one light transfer to SD DV by a Workprinter XP.

The music was written and recorded live to cassette tape in the basement of the decaying mansion the film was shot in by Bill Beattie & Alex Zhang Hungtai (aka Dirty Beaches).

Many thanks to Team: La Nouvelle Baguette for all the hard work and overcoming a hard drive crash at 3am to hand in a movie with 5 minutes left in the deadline! Perhaps we'll revisit the film and tighten up the edit & sound mix and maybe even include the corrected credits we didn't have time to add! Our title "Dubbio" is Italian for "doubt".
