Before the armed struggle, catholics were denied basic human rights such as a vote. There was discrimination in local government to prevent catholics from recieving housing or jobs. The Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association was set up to give catholics basic human rights. In January 1971 14 NICRA members were shot dead by the British Army in what would come to be known as Bloody Sunday.

  • @murphy3434 google US war crimes in the phillipines ,you,ll find it , , thats the title , published by,world future fund,an american address, its in their what basically the US did in the phillipines , describes it far better than i can

  • @TheMightOfTheEnglish Most scholara haave attributed the decline of the native population to disease. And a huge portion of this decline took place before 1776, before the existance of the US. We treated them shamefully no doubt but your analysis of this particular issue is wrong. You are right about central america- we have some serious blood on our hands by constantly screwing with their economies. What is your source on the phillipines genocide? Maybe you're right but I haven't found it
