In 2000 Steve joined RightNow Technologies, and has served the past nine years as Vice President at their global headquarters in Bozeman, Montana. RightNow is a publicly held software company (Nasdaq: RNOW) , and was one of Morgan Stanley's top performing IPO's in 2004. Steve currently serves as General Manager/VP of Asia-Pacific. RightNow employs over 850 people, and is the largest commercial employer in Bozeman. They have 16 offices around the world, including New York, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington D.C, London, Tokyo, and Sydney Australia.
Steve has been active in politics his entire life, and was one of the youngest delegates to the 1984 GOP National Convention in Dallas, Texas for President Ronald Reagan. Steve was also the founder of Giveitback.com, a non-profit organization advocating the return of Montana's one billion dollar surplus to taxpayers. In 2007, Governor Mike Huckabee asked Steve to serve as the Montana chairman for his 2008 campaign for President. Steve also served as Chairman of the Montana Delegation to the 2008 GOP National Convention in St. Paul, and was the GOP nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Montana in the 2008 general election. More recently, Steve lead leading the effort in Montana to stop Obama's health care plan, with statewide radio ads through Common Sense Montana (www.commonsensemontana.com).
