Jade 'lifted' by message of support

Jade Goody was "absolutely lifted" by the messages of support she received from people across the country as she recovered from a successful operation to remove a cancerous tumour from her bowel, her publicist said.

Max Clifford said the reality TV star was in tears as she read some of the "hundreds and hundreds" of emails she received while recovering at the Royal Marsden Hospital in central London on Saturday.

The 27-year-old recently announced that her cancer had spread to her liver, bowel and groin.

I live in NY and have never heard of Jade Goody until last week at my dentist office while looking through a magazine. It is a very sad story no matter what kind of person she was.
