@missatralissa Seriously. What part of many did you miss? Not to mention that one did sited their source ( International Journal of Toxicology (IJT) by Gary S. Goldman, Ph.D.).
There are many many many scientists and doctors concerned over this.
I am glad you will do more research. Like I said, there is much more information than just one link. Which I am not gonna posts tons just for you. You never even gave an alternate view, oh well.
@Salisya Without proof from medical/scientific research papers, journals or statistics I am not willing to sway my opinion on what I understand of this situation. That link is to someone's personal blog and thus not any form of credible evidence.
I will continue to do research because I believe educating ones self is always best. And, because of the education I have gained I will continue to get vaccinations, & should someday I have children they will also be vaccinated. Thanks for you time.
@Salisya All of the research I have done says it if far less likely to get shingles from the vaccine. I would very much appreciate any links you can provide to medical information that states that the vaccine actually doubles the likeliness of one getting shingles. Please and thank you. :)
With natural CP circulating, the immunity of the virus is strengthened.
With less getting it and more getting the vaccine strain it causes Shingles to happen more often. It is your immunity that keeps it dormant or at bay or how ever you want to say it.
So you tell me then, if you think I am wrong.
Why is Shingles on the rise after the CP vax was introduced, if the vax is not the problem?

@Salisya Sorry, but that's wrong. Shingles IS chicken pox, it's the same virus and you get it after having had chicken pox.
From WebMD: What causes shingles?
Shingles occurs when the virus that causes chickenpox starts up again in your body. After you get better from chickenpox, the virus "sleeps" (is dormant) in your nerve roots.
Thus, having the chicken pox automatically makes you at risk for shingles. In some people it lays dormant forever, in others-like me, it becomes active.
@missatralissa When you get the CP, you get a natural immunity. That avoids you from getting Shingles as an adult. CP is the childhood illness, Shingles is more later in life. (Very very rare to not become immune if you've had CP.)
CP vax is not a natural immunity. So it is not the same thing. Once you get the vax, you need a booster within so many years. The next time you get another booster, it is about half as effective. That leaves you with no long lasting immunity and prone to shingles.
@Salisya I just don't understand how the shot is causing shingles to be on the rise. If you could link me to information on this I would appreciate it. Because, from what I understand you get shingles because you get the chicken pox. They're the same strain of herpes. It never leaves your system. So, how is getting vaccinated for the original strain causing a rise in the later evolution of it? I am always open to new information.

@missatralissa This is just one of MANY articles on it. You can do your own research from here if you'd like.
I still would like to hear how you explain the rise in cases if it is not this.

@missatralissa You miss read my post. I do know that.
It is way more complicated than you are stating.

With less getting it and more getting the vaccine strain it causes Shingles to happen more often. It is your immunity that keeps it dormant or at bay or how ever you want to say it.
