@oldiehappy40 This is the original single version with Tommy Green on lead vocal (he replaced Marvin Smith who went solo in 1966). However, when it came time to cut the "I'm Gonna Miss You" album, Tommy had to leave for personal reasons. Therefore, Marvin came back to the group & re-cut the vocals on "Girl I Need You" & "Glad I Met You" for the LP.
