''wrong number' is an adaptation of 'sorry wrong number' that i shot entirely during the summer of 1992, starring my junior high school friends. unfortunately, editing the fast dialogue cuts proved impossible on the only editing system available to me: two vcrs. i have finally cut the entire film together, and spiced it up with some music from 'silence of the lambs' and 'lost.' i loved revisiting the project, seeing how young we were, and how earnestly we worked to make a good thriller. mostly i was impressed that the disparate elements cut together at all. i kept the epically long hospital hallway exactly as it appeared in the infamous blooper reel, which for 17 years was the only screened footage of this project.
